Pokemon Coloring Pages

Let's meet some of the pokemon!

Bulbasaur loves to nap in the bright sunlight. There is a seed that grows on his back. As Bulbasaur soaks up more and more of the suns rays, the seed grows larger and larger until to forms a bud. Once a bud has formed, Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur.

Ivysaur has a thick body and very strong legs since it has to support the heavy bud on its back. As soon as the bud opens up into a beautiful flower, Ivysaur becomes Venusaur.

Venusaur has a large flower on its back. As long as Venusaur gets plenty of food and sunlight, the flower will stay brightly colored and healthy. The flower has a very sweet smell and can be used to calm down people who are upset or angry.

Squirtle is a small pokemon with a shell on its back like a turtle. The rounded shell and the grooves on its surface help Squirtle swim very fast in the water. As Squirtle grows up, it evolves into Wartortle.

Wartortle has a large thick tail and is a dark color. It's easy to find deep scratches on Wartortle's thick shell from all of his battles. As Wartortle becomes bigger and older, he turns into Blastoise.

Blastoise has large water spouts that stick out of his shell. The water spouts are used to shoot bullets of water large distances to protect Blastoise from enemies.

Pikachu, who evolves from a small pokemon called Pichu, is able to store electricity in small pouches in its cheeks. Be careful if you wake Pikachu up when he's sleeping! Sometimes he accidently loses control of his electricity when he's tired.

As Pikachu grows up, he turns into Raichu. Raichu's whole body is charged with electricity. He can even glow in the dark! When he wants to release some electricity, Raichu can just stick his tail in the ground.

Now that you've met a few of the pokemon, let's color them all so their other friends can recognize them! Do you have a favorite pokemon? What color is he? can you spot him in these pokemon coloring pages?
